Aavaas

Aavaas is a composer, singer and lyricist of contemporary Nepali music with a base in traditional Nepali and south Asian classical styles. He began his musical career in teen-age, and went on to sing with the bands Sankalpa and Aasthaa. Aavaas has composed original music for feature films, documentaries, dramas and radio programs. He has worked in radio as a music director, and has performed group and solo concerts in various places in Nepal, as well as in Europe and China. In addition, he arranges and composes songs of other Nepali singers, as well as children's songs. He lives in Kathmandu.
